And an appeal to raise funds for the appeal

PLEASE DONATE TO SAVE IF YOU CAN.
Having already met the cost of the initial judicial review process (including costs awarded to ABP and NELC) SAVE is trying to raise funds to cover the cost of the appeal. They have already raised £1,600, but their target is £8,000. See their fundraising page here:

Fund-raising by SAVE to fight the demolition of historic buildings on Grimsby Docks

https://www.facebook.com/groups/NELDF/permalink/908290405965801/

"I have been intouch with SAVE and asked what we can do. They say that they need help with their re appeal as it will cost money to go back to court and to keep forwarding their press release, the Link below.

If you can not donate to the cause but strongly disagree with the decision to knock these buildings down, please keep sharing the press release far and wide to help gain attention.

Grimsby was once the largest fishing port in the world. Associated British Ports (ABP) is demolishing the 19th century buildings at the heart of the historic port of Grimsby. ABP have permitted development rights - no planning application is needed.

ABP was formerly the British Transport Docks Board. Other industries formerly in the public sector have legal duties to consider historic buildings (e.g. in Water Industry Act 1991, section 3 and Electricity Act 1989, Schedule 9). The law should be changed so that ABP (and other bodies formerly in the public sector) are subject to similar duties.
