Papas start campaign to buy Pleasure Island carousel for Cleethorpes Pier

"Papas Fish and Chips are hoping to put the carousel on Cleethorpes Pier and turn it into something that will benefit the whole community"
A great idea if it works out. But the weight of the carousel and the strength of the pier; the damage to the carousel from waves and sea air; and how to protect an open air carousel from vandals?
Who built the carousel? Was it Savages of Kings Lynn, who built the carousel that visits Lincoln Christmas market?
